November 9 North Jetty Bait Camp- Butch McIllwain-409-684-3857 Things started looking good around 2-3 o’clock yesterday with a little flounder catch here and there. This morning around 10:00, two nice reports of flounder were already in. Lawrence DeGeorge of Houston, caught 4 flounder to 3 1/2 llbs. on live mullet. Rocky Sapp, along with his wife Rama, here for the winter from Pittsburg, Texas have been wade fishing nearly every morning here at the mouth of the Jetty and has been consistently reeling in flounder to 4 lbs. This morning he caught flounder to 3 1/2 llbs on curly tail grubs, mostly white with some red. These curly tail artificial baits are really popular right now for flounder. With the tides getting back to normal, I look for a great weekend! |
